Academy Day

Drop off and Pick up times/areas

Children are to be dropped off in the playground. Children will need to stand in line (or at their classroom doors in EYFS/KS1) where they will be greeted by their class teachers and teaching assistants. If you are unsure where your child’s classroom door is please contact the school office. 

Drop off 

F1 am (Nursery - 8.45 am) and F1 pm (Nursery - 12.00 pm)

Nursery (30 hours - 8.45 am - 3.00 pm)

F2 to be brought to the cloakroom door at the rear of the school (near the school field)

Afternoon F1 (Nursery) to be brought down to the main reception door where they will be collected by nursery staff. 

Y1 and Y2 to line up outside their classroom doors at the rear of the school (near the school field)

Y3-Y6 to line up on the Key stage 2 playground at the front of the school.

Pick up 

F1 am (11.45 am) F 1 pm (3.10 pm) and F2 to be collected from their cloakroom door at the rear of the school (near the school field)

Y1 and Y2 are to be collected from the classroom door at the rear of the school (near the school field)

Y3 to be collected from the KS1 corridor side door (near the hall)

Y4-Y6 from the KS2 playground (Class teachers will stand with the class and release children in an orderly manner)

We expect good conduct on school premises which includes the playground and any parent/carer whose behaviour is unacceptable could face a ban from the premises in line with our Parent/Carer/Visitor policy This includes swearing. 

Please note that we do not allow parents into the internal school premises without a pre-booked appointment. If you need access to the school please go to the main reception.

Please note that we will not release children to an unknown adult without prior authorisation from a parent/carer. If your child will be collected by someone other than yourself, please inform the school office.
