Year 6

Homework
This will be given in smaller chunks on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Work will need to be completed for the following day. Homework will be based on areas covered in lessons and revision based for SATs. 

PE

PE days may change on a week by week basis. We will inform you via your child and by sending out a Marvellous Me to advise which day this will be on. 

Reading in year 6

We request that children read at home four times a week and bring in a signed reading record to have the chance of winning prizes in assembly. Reading is important and will help improve children's knowledge and writing skills as well as improving their reading skills ready for SATs. 

In class we are currently reading Letters From The Lighthouse by Emma Carroll
