PE/Sports Funding

In April 2013 the Government announced new funding for PE and Sport. The funding should be used to improve the quality and breadth of PE and Sport provision. The school receives Sports Funding each year which we use to provide additional services to promote and raise fitness levels and encourage children to lead healthy, happy lives.

We are free to determine how best to use this funding to improve the quality and breadth of PE and Sport in school.  This can include increasing participation in PE and Sport so that all pupils develop healthy lifestyles and reach the performance levels they are capable of.
