Homework 

We do not set homework weekly in Foundation however we ask to expose your child to our Topic as much as possible at home. It might be you read stories, share experiences, do some arts and crafts. We always love to see photographs of what you have been up to!

PE Days

It is one of our targets by the end of the year to be able to dress and undress ourselves. For this reason we ask in Foundation for your child to bring their PE kit in a bag to go on their peg. 

Reading

We start learning sounds from the first day in F2. Once your child knows all the individual sounds they will then be sent home a reading book and reading record. 

Once your child has a reading book sent home we ask you to listen to your child 4 times a week. We have a reading race in school and every time their reading record is signed we move their name racing car around the racing track. Your child will receive a certificate when they reach different milestones around the race track.
