 Statement of Intent

At Newington Academy we inspire curious and critical explorers of the past through our knowledge rich History curriculum. We foster skills for critical enquiry to enable all pupils to question the past and the world around them. We build both knowledge and skills, understanding that the two are fundamentally entwined. In every lesson we share the beauty and excitement of history through the power of storytelling and moments of wonder.
