Section 1. Regular Dues. – Regular Members and Members-on-Leave shall pay the agreed regular monthly dues to the CFU-ADDU. For new members, collection shall commence a month following regularization. The list of Union members who are entitled to be deducted the said monthly dues will come from the HRMDO. The amount shall be deducted by the University Finance Office from the payroll of each Union member and likewise be remitted to the Union Treasurer for deposit to the CFU-ADDU account.
Section 2. General Fund. - All amounts collected shall constitute the General Fund of the Union which are intended for operational and organizational expenses or any purpose or object as may be authorized by the Executive Board or the general membership meeting duly called for the purpose, such as but not limited to the following:
Section 3. Special Assessment. – In cases when the regular monthly dues are insufficient, a special assessment to other extraordinary fees shall be made upon a resolution duly approved by the general membership.
Section 4. Suspension of Payment of Dues - In the event of a member’s leave of absence without pay or other similar cases as determined by the Executive Board to have valid reason/s shall be excused from payment of monthly regular dues.
Section 5. Receipt. - Every payment of fees, dues or other contributions by members shall be evidenced by the Union Check Off Document issued by the University Finance Office. Every expenditure of the funds of the Union shall be evidenced by a receipt or any valid proof from the person to whom the payment is made and shall include the date, place and purpose of such payment. Each valid receipt shall form part of the financial records of the Union.
Section 6. Book of Accounts. The books of accounts and other records of financial activities of the Union shall be open for inspection by any officer or member anytime during office hours.
