SECTION 1. Health Care Benefits.

a. The Management agrees that the physicians, the dentists and the nurses employed by the Management shall in addition to providing medical services to the faculty members in case of emergency perform physical examinations to Union members free of charge.

b. The Management agrees to grant an annual medical check-up for all regular college faculty. In addition thereto, the Management agrees to facilitate the reproductive health care services and necessary vaccination (Flu, Hepa-B, HPV, Tetanus Toxoid, Pneumonia Prophylaxis, Rabies, and Measles,) in the health care package of the University. The Management further agrees to provide for free diagnostic, testing and therapy services at the Ateneo de Davao University to faculty members who have children with special needs.

c. The Management agrees that all Union members be given free access to the Ateneo de Davao University recreational, athletic and other facilities, subject to existing school regulations. Athletic competitions among members of both Union and Management are encouraged.

d. The Management, through the HRMDO and in coordination with the Union, agrees to initiate physical fitness and/or athletic activities to be done during a mutually agreed schedule in order to promote health and wellness and camaraderie.

e. Management agrees to strive to maintain a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) with a maximum benefit limit (MBL) of One Hundred Fifty Thousand Pesos (Php 150,000.00) per illness per year for the 2019-2024 CBA. Any increase in its annual premium shall be subject to availability of funds.

f. The Management, upon request of the employee, may extend a non-interest bearing emergency hospital loan to cover hospital bill in excess of the MBL up to One Hundred Fifty Thousand Pesos (Php 150,000.00) for non-surgical and up to Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Pesos (Php 250,000.00) for surgical cases. Such loans shall be payable following the scheme for salary deductions on hospitalization.

g. Moreover, the Management agrees to provide no less than Php 2,000 as medical assistance for the dependents of Union members who enroll their dependents in the HMO package.

h. A Committee for the selection of Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) and other insurances related to work shall be composed of three (3) representatives from the Union and three (3) representatives from the Management. This committee shall evaluate, select and recommend the Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) and other insurance packages for the regular college faculty members for the approval of the University President. The Management agrees to enter into contract with the evaluated, selected, recommended and approved Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) and other insurance packages.

SECTION 2. Joint Venture. The Management and the Union agree to explore Union-Management joint venture for increasing productivity and sharing of benefits resulting therefrom. Such venture should either be a cooperative or any mutually beneficial venture.

SECTION 3. Clothing Allowance. The Management agrees to grant a yearly clothing allowance of Six Thousand Pesos (Php 6,000) to Union members effective June 1, 2019.

SECTION 4. Optical Subsidy. The Management agrees to grant Union members an optical subsidy of Five Thousand Pesos (P 5,000.00) every two years provided that there is a medical prescription from a licensed ophthalmologist / optometrist.

SECTION 5. Retreats and Recollections. The Management agrees that all college faculty retreats and recollections sponsored by the University be free of charge to encourage faculty attendance provided that faculty counterparts for 8- or 30-day retreats be negotiated, especially when these are repeat experiences of the same. Retreats and recollections may be extended to faculty dependents for a fee.

SECTION 6. Calamity Assistance. The Management agrees to grant regular college faculty members a Calamity Assistance Benefit of Twenty Thousand Pesos (Php 20,000.00) in case of fire, flood and other disasters.

SECTION 7. Service Award. Management agrees to grant loyalty award to all Union members as follows:

a. Ten (10) years of service – P5,000.00

b. Fifteen (15) years of service – P6,500.00

c. Twenty (20) years of service – P8,000.00

d. Twenty Five (25) years of service – P9,500.00

e. Thirty (30) years of service – P11,000.00

f. Thirty Five (35) years of service – P12,500.00

g. Forty (40) years of service – P15,000.00

The Management may exercise its prerogative to increase the service award amounts as budget may allow.

SECTION 8. Parking Spaces. The Management agrees to allocate in-campus parking spaces following parking policies to regular faculty members insofar as existing facilities permit and the rights of students to parking are not impaired. Allocated parking spaces must be regularly granted every semester.

SECTION 9. Faculty Spaces and Union Offices. Management agrees to improve and maintain the faculty lounge/ room which shall include spaces for consultations, dining, resting, breastfeeding, and television viewing. A Union office and Union conference rooms shall also be provided and shall be located near and/or accessible to the faculty work space.

SECTION 10. Child Minding Center. The Management agrees to provide, operate and maintain a child minding center for the regular faculty members in accordance with the existing laws with support from the Management in terms of physical space.

The Management and the Union should release within six (6) months after the signing of the CBA the Implementing Rules and Regulation in the operations of the said Center.

SECTION 11. Honorarium for Committee Works. The Management agrees to give honorarium to faculty members assigned in University initiated committee work which is beyond their regular duties and obligations. Furthermore, a Committee shall be created to determine and recommend to the University President an honorarium scheme and compensable committee tasks. The Union shall be represented in this committee. The Management and the Union should release within six (6) months after the signing of the CBA the payment scheme and the list of committees that require compensation.

SECTION 12. Union Representation. The Management agrees that the Union President and Vice President shall have seats in the University Academic Council.

SECTION 13. Union Support. For the Labor Day celebration, the Management agrees to provide P650 to each Union member for the Labor Day t-shirt and transportation. The total amount shall be provided to the Union Treasurer on or before April 15 of each year.

SECTION 14. Signing Bonus. The Management agrees to grant a Signing Bonus equivalent to Seven Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (Php 7,500.00) per Union member.

SECTION 15. Educational Travel. The Management agrees to explore opportunities for educational travel among Union members and Management/Administration to promote better Union-Management partnership in pursuit of the University's Vision, Mission and Goals.

SECTION 16. The Management agrees to provide a room adjacent to or near the faculty work area within the campus to be used exclusively as an office by the Union free of charge.

SECTION 17. Hazard Pay. Management agrees to grant employees who are faculty members teaching Chemistry subjects with laboratory assignments the monthly Hazard Pay in accordance with Professional Regulatory Board of Chemistry Resolution No. 11, s. of 2018 and R.A. 10657 (Chemistry Profession Act) calculated as follows:
