Section 1. Regular General Membership Meeting. - A General Membership Meeting, which is also referred to as General Assembly, shall be held every year on the 3rd Monday of January. Notices of the meeting shall be sent out by the Secretary at least (10) days prior to such meeting by posting notices in conspicuous places, preferably inside office premises, and/or by sending to their individual email.
Section 2. Special Membership Meetings. - Special Membership Meetings may also be called upon request of the members. Members requesting for a Special Membership Meeting must write an official letter to the Board.
Section 3. Quorum - Fifty percent (50%) plus one (1) of the members shall constitute a quorum to transact business.

Section 5. Absences in Meetings
a. Any member who is absent from any Regular General Membership Meeting shall submit within five (5) working days from the date of said meeting a written explanation to the Committee on Membership as to the reason/s or for his/her failure to attend the meeting. The Committee on Membership shall evaluate the explanation and render a report thereof to the Executive Board.
b. Members on official leave of absence, i.e. study leave, are excused from attending meetings whether regular or special.
c. Any member who is absent for three (3) consecutive times from any regular or special meeting of the general membership without justifiable grounds therefore may be called by the Committee on Membership for consultation.
d. Absence of a member in General Assembly and Special Membership Meetings shall be subject to rules and regulations to be promulgated by the Committee of Membership. Such rules and regulations shall be approved by the general membership.
