SECTION 1. This AGREEMENT shall be in full force and effect for a period from June 1, 2019 to May 31, 2024 unless both parties agree to extend its life for another year before its expiration.
The Management further agrees to renegotiate the Economic provisions of this Collective Bargaining Agreement on the fourth and fifth year under Article 253-A of the amended Labor Code of the Philippines.
SECTION 2. This AGREEMENT shall be deemed renewed unless sixty (60) days before its expiration, the Union or Management notifies the other in writing of its desire to amend the provisions thereof. Provisions not covered by the proposed amendments shall be deemed renewed.
SECTION 3. Upon submission of the CBA proposal/revisions/amendments by the Union, the Management shall be given thirty (30) days to submit its counterproposal to the Union. The CBA proposal/revisions/amendments shall be deemed adopted should the Management fail to comply.
SECTION 4. This agreement shall be effective upon ratification by a simple majority of the Union members who cast their votes.
