Section 1. Field of membership - Any full-time college faculty member of ADDU not otherwise disqualified by law, regardless of sex, race , nationality, religious or political belief or affiliation, is eligible for membership in the union.
Section 2. Admission of Members. – REGULAR faculty members of ADDU qualified members of the union upon recommendation of the Committee on Membership to the President of the union. The Committee shall require them to fill out membership forms that also include their declaration of commitment to abide by the CBL of the union.
Sec. 3. Members-on-Leave. - All deans, department chairs, officers-in-charge, program coordinators and other heads receiving honoraria who also have faculty status are considered Members-on-Leave or honorary members of the union. The Committee on Membership shall submit to the Secretary the names of the members identified by the Human Resource Management and Development Office (HRMDO) as administrators; hence, members on leave in the union.
Sec. 4. Rights of Members – All CFU-ADDU members shall have the following rights:

b. Members-on-leave: Members on leave shall enjoy the same rights as regular members except for numbers 2, 3 and 9 under Sec. 4 (a) of Article III.
Section 5. Disqualification from Membership. - Members of illegal organizations are disqualified from membership in the CFU-ADDU. Those who, by false declaration, obtain membership in this union who are actually members of such groups, shall be expelled.
Section 6. Expulsion, Suspension, Cessation of Membership. - Proceedings for expulsion, suspension and cessation of Membership shall adhere to the provisions laid out in Article XI of this Constitution.
