COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT

between

ATENEO DE DAVAO UNIVERSITY

and the

COLLEGE FACULTY UNION OF ATENEO DE DAVAO UNIVERSITY

(CFU-AdDU)

THIS AGREEMENT MADE and ENTERED

into by and between:

The Ateneo de Davao University, a non-stock, non-profit educational institution duly organized and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, with principal office at Jacinto Street, Davao City, duly represented herein by Fr. Joel E. Tabora, S.J., President, herein referred to as the “Management,”

and

The College Faculty Union of Ateneo de Davao University (CFU-AdDU), an independent labor union duly registered with the Department of Labor and Employment, with R1100-0518-UR-250 represented by its officers, JUDITH D. DALAGAN, HADJI A. BALAJADIA, ROSALINDA C. TOMAS, EVELYN A. BEATISULA, MYLENE D. CABALLERO, ROY CRESCENCIO R. LINAO, JR., JOSYL H. AQUILAM, IRENE C. LELIS, NORMAN F. NARCISO, and REX T. ROLA, herein referred to as the “Union”.

WITNESSETH:

WHEREAS, the Union after having dutifully complied with the requirements of the law and having been certified by the Department of Labor and Employment as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent of the regular rank and file College Faculty of Ateneo de Davao University.

WHEREAS, the Management and the Union recognize that their common goal is to pursue and attain the vision and mission of the Ateneo de Davao University.

WHEREAS, the Management and the Union recognize that they must both strive to attain an equitable compensation and benefit structure that will promote a productive working relationship between Management and the Union.

WHEREAS, the Management and the Union recognize the benefits and potentials of entering into a collective bargaining agreement under existing labor laws to guarantee mutual respect, and develop collaboration.

NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, covenants, undertakings, terms, and conditions herein contained, it is hereby mutually agreed by and between parties hereto as follows:
