Access to Accelerated Math Tests

AM tests are not available via Home Connect. Please go to the Assumption Catholic School Website > Parents/Students > Renplace under Student Resources – the student will login here and be able to access AM tests.

To get Renaissance to work. Close Renaissance

Got to the three dots on the top right in the browser

Select “more tools”

Select “clear browsing data”

On the screen there will be a drop down (pick all time frame) and in the check boxes, select “Cookies and other site data”. If you want to clear cache, too, that's ok.

Click the “clear data” button

Refresh the browser (You can even shut down and restart at this point, too)

Then go to Renaissance and you should be able to get into math,

“Thank you to Erin Wilson from Renaissance Learning for looking into an error issue. If you are having some issues with your login, this may help when you receive a notification that an "Error has occurred".

I believe the error comes from a new feature introduced in the latest update to the Chrome browser that restricts 3rdparty cookies. Any users accessing the AM program via Chrome 80 will experience this error. To have a parent or student verify their version of the browser please follow these steps:

Click on the (3) dots in the upper right hand side of the screen > Help > About Google Chrome > your version will be listed there.

This latest update introduced in Chrome 80 that restricts 3rd party cookies, affects the way Renaissance uses a sign in process for students to access Accelerated Math. Until the defect is resolved this change that Chrome made will allow you to enter Other Math and Reading Apps the first time however after 2 minutes if you leave and try to return to Other Math and Reading Apps you will see “An Error has Occurred in the Application.”

As a workaround you can either close all Chrome windows to reset the browser's sessions which will cause the above behavior to repeat or you can temporarily turn off this new feature in within Chrome.”

To temporarily turn off this new feature on your home workstation type in chrome://flags in the URL bar of a Chrome window. Search for “SameSite by default cookies” and change this setting to Disabled.
