Good morning St. Vincent Families,

Today is Children’s Mass at 9:00 on the Assumption Catholic School’s Facebook page

How are you?

What do you need?

The two most important questions as we live through these days. I’m asking you so that we can go through this together as an Assumption family. Also, please remember to ask your family members that same question.

It’s okay that we are all a little off kilter during this time. Don’t expect yourself or anyone else to feel like they normally do, because your world is not functioning as it normally does.

Walking Through Holy Week as a Family

The week between Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday, Holy Week, is the most sacred time of year. During this special time, we enter into the passion of Christ — his crucifixion, death and resurrection — through liturgical celebration and personal conversion. While the season of Lent is a very important time in the Church, it is helpful to remember that our Lenten practices (prayer, fasting and almsgiving) are meant as preparation for the three days of the Triduum.

Did someone say CHOCOLATE? Pick up today

Seroogy Orders Tuesday, April 7th 8am-noon

All orders will be in a bag labeled with your name. Please adhere to social distance rules of 6ft apart when picking up. If you cannot pick up during this time, please make arrangements for someone to pick up for you.

So you would like to do Morning Announcements?

Students: If you would like to send your Vocaroo (send me the link) with an introduction including your name, our pledge, an awesome prayer, and an inspirational message to our school community, that would be totally awesome. Click on this link for the template.

Virtual Spirit Week

Each week, students can participate in the virtual spirit week theme by submitting their pictures and/or comments to Mrs. Leberg @ nleberg@assumptioncatholicschools.org and then she will share in the newsletter.

WEEK 2 (April 6-12) Celebrating Easter

Participate in an Assumption Community Easter Egg Hunt - "Social distancing style"

Make a large egg (using items you already have around your home) and then put it out where it will be viewable from the road. When done, take a photo and we will post it on the Assumption Community Easter Egg Hunt Facebook event page. On Easter Sunday, ACS families can take a drive around and "hunt" for the eggs.

Song of the Day

Quite often at our after school prayer service we have music playing. Raise a Halleluja by Bethel Music is one that we have played. Enjoy. If you have any you would like to share, please send it along.

Peace to you and wash your hands,

Mrs. Fochs
