4/2/2020 Morning Message

Good morning St. Vincent Families,

Looking for Superhero photosJ We’d love to see what’s going on.

Continue to access the SVDP School Hub Website that will keep information if you have found yourself drowning in emails. Please refer to it for our basic routines and assignment information.

Access to more books

ABDO Digital books is a resource available to you that works similar to myON.

New Resources on the Hub

Some of our favorite Renaissance employees/parents have been troubleshooting with us as we all use the devices from home. From error messages to pop-up blockers to old browser versions. Take a look if you need to.

Did someone say CHOCOLATE?

Holy Week/ Virtual Spirit Week

Here is a special video that goes straight to my heart about Holy Week because my sister and niece are the presenters. Enjoy What’s in the Box episode #2

Each week, students can participate in the virtual spirit week theme by submitting their pictures and/or comments to Mrs. Leberg @ nleberg@assumptioncatholicschools.org and then she will share in the newsletter.

Next week:

WEEK 2 (April 6-12)

CELEBRATING EASTER

My best memories of Easter have always been worshiping together at church, and then gathering at my parents house for a meal with family and an Easter Egg Hunt.

I know we are all in this together, feeling the loss of community togetherness.

Participate in an Assumption Community Easter Egg Hunt - "Social distancing style"

Make a large egg (using items you already have around your home) and then put it out where it will be viewable from the road. When done, take a photo and we will post it on the Assumption Community Easter Egg Hunt Facebook event page.

On Easter Sunday, ACS families can take a drive around and "hunt" for the eggs.

Song of the Day

Quite often at our after school prayer service we have music playing. All the People Said Amen by Matt Maher is one that we have played. Enjoy. If you have any you would like to share, please send it along.

Peace to you and wash your hands,

Mrs. Fochs
