Morning Message 3/19/2020

Dear Parents,

Good morning St. Vincent Families,

Wishing you all an amazing day as you get to sorting out your routines. I will be sending out this one email each day to families for any new information. As we get into our home routines, the message will be smaller. I know that the most important emails should be coming from the teachers.

Attendance (click me)

Please complete and submit the Student Attendance SV form for each of your children each school day. Between this form and the teachers receiving your child’s work, seeing engagement on the various assigned sites and Google Classroom…or even becoming Math Masters, we will be in compliance with the DPI.

As we do in the office each day, contact is made to the family when we are missing our precious kiddos at school. Please make sure to let us know that things are going well at your house; that your student is engaging in instruction. The teachers are on the front line of the virtual learning and will call to make sure all of their students are accounted for throughout the day.

AR and Books

AR quizzes will be able to be taken at home. It’s best practice to be taking these quizzes within 24 hours of reading the book. If you are running out of books, check out the Nekoosa Public Library site, as of today they were still offering out books. Give them a call to find out the process. myON is still available with many online books, along with Audible, YouTube Kids, and Scholastic to name a few. Do a search because many companies are waiving their fee. Looking for authors to read their books? Then make sure to choose ‘read to’ before taking the quiz.

  • Go to the ACS website to access the correct Renaissance hosted site. Some students are searching for it on Google, getting another school’s site, and trying to log in. it doesn’t work that way.

Schedule and Sanity

Thank you for sending over some of your family schedules. Very creative! I know this is new to everyone. Share those schedules with your friends. We are all in this together.

This is a great time to make memories with your family. Please share any photos (appropriate of course, please be careful of what is in your background…lol) so that we can create our own SV memories. Loving the ones we have received so far!

Peace to you and wash your hands,

Mrs. Fochs
