5/13/2020 Morning Message

Good Morning, St. Vincent Families,

Today is Mass Day. I see that religion assignments are to watch the ACS Facebook page at 9:00 for Fr. Becker’s Children’s Mass, if you can. It’s a great opportunity for some more Jesus in your heart. Did you see the Catholic Life magazine that came this week from the Diocese? We have two of our rock stars in there. Go ahead and look to see Mrs. Leberg and Mrs. Kleinschmidt. They are famous!

I also see that math practice is the assignments for many math classes today. This has been a perfect time to get on Math Facts and a Flash and finally get to be a Math Master before next Friday. Check it out! Some students have not been on Math Facts in a Flash since we started distance-learning. Parents, please look at your child’s progress.

We are planning for our pick up and drop off event the last week of May. In Friday’s communications, you will find directions and a Sign Up Genius for this event. We have some awesome things planned for this week. You haven’t missed anything yet. We haven’t invited people into the building to gather belongings. Our staff will complete all this before your scheduled time. This part is proving to be a bit hard for our staff as they are packing up items and missing all of our students very much. Students will be invited to join you in your vehicle as the teachers will be the delivery people.

Children’s Mass and Opportunities Fr. Becker will be celebrating Children’s Mass today at 9:00am on the Assumption Catholic Schools Facebook Page. Please join us and send up some hearts. Youth Mass will be celebrated on Thursdays at 9:00 on the same page.

It’s so important to participate in the prayer activities with your family. Bishop Callahan has a wonderful service online as well as several of our Deanery parishes. Stay tuned as we work on the video for our May Crowning.

Family Trivia Night Tomorrow! Thursday, May 14. Our new rules will be 1 point for each question. 5 categories with 5 questions each. We lowered the amount of time between each question. Thank you for playing last week and for the feedback to make this week and next week even more fun. Make sure you have already downloaded Zoom onto the device you are linking.
