5/1/2020 Morning Message

Good Morning, St. Vincent Families,

Today is the first day of May. It brings to mind all the things we would be able to do if we were together in our building. Creating the May baskets together, dropping off flowers or candy at doorways. Getting excited about all the field trips we would be taking this month. Last night would have been our concert. All week my Outlook alarms were going off telling me about the rehearsals. I miss all of you. We miss all of you. My prayers continue to go out to all of our St. Vincent families as we continue to learn through our last month of school.

Friday is the day to finish up the work from the week and then grab your family and begin to enjoy the weekend. Make sure to play a board game at the end of this beautiful day God has made for us.

School is NOT closed for the year. The building is. If you listen closely you can hear the hum of hard working teachers, administrators, and support staff preparing to save the day in ways and means never seen before. Yes, we are broken hearted, but these broken hearts will lead.-Peton Anderson. I didn't write this quote, but it sums up our life. We continue to teach and learn. We continue to take attendance because we want to know you are with us. We also are a tuition-based, independent Choice School and are prudent in our data.

Children’s Mass and Opportunities Fr. Becker will be celebrating Children’s Mass on Wednesdays at 9:00am on the Assumption Catholic Schools Facebook Page. Please join us and send up some hearts. Youth Mass will be celebrated on Thursdays at 9:00 on the same page. It’s so important to participate in the prayer activities with your family. Have you tried this website yet? Teaching Catholic Kids It offers great ideas to instill Jesus at a time of anxiety, as well as everyday life.

Song of the Day
