Successful completion of Greek 2 or Teacher recommendation based on placement test.

Course Description:

This course is the continuation of Greek 2. Students are accepted upon successful completion of Greek 2. The skills of reading, writing, listening, and speaking are expanded on a more advanced level. More complicated grammatical structures are introduced. Greek culture is introduced into lessons at every opportunity. Emphasis is placed on speaking, reading comprehension and the writing process.

In writing, students will use the strategies of the writing process, learn the different aspects of writing styles, and learn how to gather and use information for research purposes. In speaking and listening, students will use different strategies for different communication purposes. In reading, students will use the reading process to interpret various texts.

Please Note: Depending on the number of Academy students enrolled, this course might be combined with the Middle School course or the online course.
