Introduction to World Languages

(B - Non Native)

ACS Athens currently provides five different world language programs serving the needs of a full range of proficiency levels, from zero proficiency to near-native speakers.

The languages offered are: Arabic, Chinese, German, Greek and Spanish.

With the exception of Greek, the B level language courses in 9th and 10th grades prepare students interested in enrolling in the IB Program during 11th and 12th grades. Students with zero proficiency have the option of taking Spanish ab initio in 11th grade. Spanish and German are also offered as AP courses.
