Students in this mixed-level (9-12) semester elective course will develop a range of social, interpersonal and expressive skills through daily preparation and presentation of group improvisations and scenes. This is a practical class that develops a set of life-transferable skills: confidence, communication, focus, concentration of attention, coordination, imagination, team work, space, time and body awareness, creativity and expression, to mention but a few. Students will learn how to reflect upon their experience and the creative process and how to constructively evaluate their own work as well as that of others. Drama 1 and 2 can be taken in any order for either one semester or a full year.
