IB Diploma Course Students:

  • IB Psychology Year 2 Standard Level: A June- IB Score Up to Date (SIB on report card) of 3 or above.

  • IB Psychology Year 2 Higher Level: A June- IB Score Up to Date (SIB on report card) of 4 or above.

Description:

In Year 2, students (SL & HL) will complete the third component of PAPER 1 examining the biological perspective as investigated through the neurobiological aspects of behavior. In addition, HL students will explore OPTION 2 of PAPER 2, which focuses on the psychology of health-related behaviors such as stress management, eating disorders and/or substance abuse. PAPER 3 (HL only) will continue to be examined through the application of Qualitative and Quantitative research methods. The IB Internal Assessment will be finalized and presented in a 1800-2200 word report, including an Introduction, Exploration of the methodology, Analysis of the results, and Evaluation of the experimental process as a whole.
