Open only to juniors or seniors. Successful completion of Algebra 1.

Description:

This course is designed to meet the needs of most college bound students in the 11th and 12th grade. Topics studied will include, review of basic arithmetic and algebra, percents, investing and loans, budgets, different types of interest, simple, compound, continuous, and use of basic linear equations and graphs in business. The students will also use mathematical procedures to analyze and solve business problems for such areas as: Taxation, Savings and Investments, Maximizing profit, Cash Management, Purchases, Sales, Inventory Records, Depreciation, and Inflation.
