Harrison Middle School students, staff, and community members continue to support St. Bakhita Nursery and Primary School, located in the Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement in Uganda. Our efforts in April 2013, focused on collecting T-Shirts for the more than 600 children of the Sudanese refugees.
Charlie Roscoe, of Yarmouth, is the founder of Schools for Refugees (http://schoolsforrefugees.org/). He delivered the shirts during his trip to Uganda in April 2013. Thank you to all of the students, parents, staff, and community members who donated bags of shirts for these children; your support means so much to these students, and to all involved with this work!
Over 600 shirts ! 4 large suitcases were needed! Charlie Roscoe with students
