·         Aortic arch, aortic knob, descending aorta

·         Heart, right atrium, left ventricle

·         Pulmonary trunk

·         Pulmonary hila

·         Superior vena cava

·         Anterior and posterior ends of the ribs

·         Stomach bubble

·         Sternum, thoracic spine

·         Anterior clear space

·         Diaphragm

·         Costophrenic angles

 

2.       Recognize the following abnormalities and disease entities on chest radiographs:

·         Lung abscess

·         Lung nodule/mass

·         Tension pneumothorax

·         Pulmonary edema

·         Air bronchogram

·         Pleural effusion

·         Lung metastases

·         Pneumonia

·         Anterior mediastinal mass

·         COPD

·         Streaky atelectasis

·         Right upper lobe collapse, left upper lobe collapse
