5. Differentiate between indirect and direct inguinal hernias.

The boundaries of the inguinal triangle are inferior epigastric vessels (superolaterally), lateral border of rectus abdominis m. (medial), and inguinal ligament (inferiorly). Direct inguinal hernias typically enter here.
