Welcome to the start of Term 3 of the 2020 school year.
Nau mai haere mai to all of our new Te Kura o Ngā Pāraepōhatu whānau. We hope you had a lovely holiday and were able to enjoy the time off with family and friends.
The start of term Pōwhiri held on Monday was a wonderful and empowering way to commence the new term.
We are always very grateful for the support and hospitality that Kaumatua Tautoko, or Papa Big as he is known to us, gives through this rich, cultural welcome celebration and blessing.
We are very much looking forward to sharing the Making History Exhibition with you on Thursday, 6th August, 2.00pm - 7.30pm. Please note school closes at 1.00pm on Thursday 6th August 2020.

Each year, the Board of Trustees looks at the current and predicted roll and determines if the school is in a position to continue to make this exception.
If you are a current parent of the school and have an out of zone pre-schooler due to start primary school during 2021, you will need to write to lauren.wessels@stonefields.school.nz before Friday 31st July so that the Board of Trustees can discuss our current and predicted roll and decide if a ballot is feasible for new entrant only. Once you have informed us of your situation we will then notify you of the application process.
Should your child need to take medication while at school (lunchtime etc.) we ask that the below process is followed:
Should you have any questions or need any assistance, please email admin@stonefields.school.nz

Click here to view the activities that will be running during Term 3. We encourage your child to get involved with as many activities as they would like.
The ordering process is completely paper-less, and the current brochure is available to view here. Paper copies of the Book Club catalogue have been distributed to each hub, so please ask your child to collect a copy from their hub if you would like to place an order, but would prefer to view the catalogue in paper form.
To place your order, please register using the LOOP website. You may then order on the website, or by using one of Scholastic's apps. Please do not return anything to school as all orders are processed through the LOOP system.
Book orders close on Friday 7th August. If you have any problems, please email anna.malan@stonefields.school.nz
Please take the time to click on our community notices. This section holds information on what is going on in and around our community, outside of school activities. New notices have recently been added and the section is updated on a regular basis.

School is Back – please remember to drive at a safe speed around our school.
This makes it safer for everyone, and learners love to be able to walk, scoot or ride to school!
Let’s all take the time to be kind to one another, walking to school if we can, and driving safely around schools.
