Administration Extension and Refurbishment

Further to the news we shared regarding the Admin extension, work will commence on Monday 15th June 2020

The admin team will be moving to the "old Hub Koru" (now known as Akomanga Aroha) on Friday, 12th June. We kindly ask that where possible, you limit visiting the office next Friday while the move is in progress. Thereafter, should you need to visit the admin office, please head to Akomanga Aroha.

School Drop Off and Pick Up

Pick Up Times

• Hub Koru - 2.45pm
• Year 1 and 2 learners with older siblings will be collected from their Hub by their older sibling from 2.50pm and will be able to make their way home.
• 3.00pm onwards, All other learners will be dismissed in groups.

Please ensure you continue to have a pick up plan in place - this has been working really well.

Reminders

• Contact tracing requirements continue
• No parents are to come through the gates at drop off and pick up unless pre-arranged. Any pre-arranged entry must complete the contact tracing - using the QR code on the hall, admin and hub windows.
• Learners need to collect a late pass from the office prior to going to the Hub.
• Please ensure physical distancing at all times.

Visitors On-Site

Any visitors after 9.00am and before 3.00pm, are to report to the school office to sign in.

Unless essential, please do not enter the school site.

Kapa Haka

A reminder that Kapa Haka kicks off again on Monday, 8th June at 8.00am in Hub 5/6. We are looking forward to welcoming all of our tamariki back and welcome any new members who would like to join.

Māori Identity

We are in the process of updating our database of learners who identify as Māori. If you would like this information recorded/updated, please let us know by emailing comms@stonefields.school.nz

Library - Scholastic Book Club

Scholastic Book Club have a bumper Term 2 issue available.

The ordering process is completely paper-less, and the current brochure is available to view here. Paper copies of the Book Club catalogue have been distributed to each hub, so ask your child to collect a copy from their hub if you would like to place an order, but would prefer to view the catalogue in paper form.

To place your order, please register using the LOOP website. You may then order on the website, or by using one of Scholastic's apps. Please do not return anything to school as all orders are processed through the LOOP system.
