Thank you to everyone who attended our Netball Muster on Saturday, 14th March It was great to see so many learners coming together to celebrate the start of the season.
In light of recent developments we are putting a hold on our organisation of Netball teams for the upcoming winter season. We will finalise the teams at the start of Term 2 when we hope to have a better picture of what the winter netball season will look like. In the meantime if you would like to withdraw your child from netball please let us know by emailing netball@stonefields.school.nz before the end of Term. We thank you for your patience and understanding while we navigate this tricky time.
We still do require more coaches and managers. If you are able to help with either of these please email netball@stonefields.school.nz.
Eastern Suburbs are currently delivering gymnastics to our Yr 1 and 2's. They have also been offering opt-in taster sessions where learners come along and see what is involved in the Primary Gymnastics Competition which takes place in Term 3 for Yr 3 - 8's.
The details for this year's competition aren't confirmed yet. We are in the process of organising training with Eastern Suburbs for this event and will share details on our Sports website next term.
Our Yr 5/6 Water Safety Sessions and Yr 0 - 2 Splashtime sessions finished off our Swimming programme for 2020. We would like to thank CLM for delivering such a fun and valuable experience for our learners. We are looking forward to building on this programme next year. In the meantime, we highly recommend that all learners are regularly given opportunities to develop their confidence and competence in water outside of school. CLM are providing a special deal on lessons for Stonefields families, you can visit their website here.
If you would like to share your feedback on the new programme you can complete the Parent/Carer Feedback form on our Sports Website here.
