• 1. Upgrade PDF (The university's licenses for older versions of Adobe Creative Cloud and Acrobat will be expiring at the end of November. Users need to update their installed Adobe software to the 2019 versions in order to keep using the software.

     1. Please note that the information below is for Windows. Information for Mac users will be coming soon. It also only applies to machines managed by ECE.

     2. As always, questions and issues should be sent to ecehelp@ncsu.edu.

     3. To upgrade Acrobat 2018 or older:

        1. • Close any running Adobe applications.

           • Open Software Center ( Using Self-Service Advertisements – NC State Active Directory ).

           • Search for "Acrobat DC User Lic-2019" and Install it.

           • The installer will automatically remove older versions of Acrobat and install the latest version.

     4. To upgrade Creative Cloud Suite applications 2018 or older:

        1. • • Close any running Adobe applications.

             • Open Software Center ( Using Self-Service Advertisements – NC State Active Directory ).

             • Depending on the software you use, you'll need to install one or more of the following packages:

               • If you need Photoshop, Illustrator, InCopy, or InDesign, search for and install "Adobe CC Basic 2019".

               • If you need After Effects, Audition, Prelude, or Premiere, search for and install "Adobe CC AudioVideo 2019".

               • If you need Dreamweaver or Animate, search for and install "Adobe CC Misc 2019".

             • Any of the three installs will remove any older CC applications before installing the 2019 versions.

             • If the installs are successful, please then search for and install "ECE-SC-Adobe-RemoveVolumeSerial". This will remove the older device license.

• 2. Please note that the 2019 versions require that users login before using the software. When you are prompted to login, choose the "Continue with Google" option. A web browser will open and you will need to login with your NCSU username and password. After you've successfully logged in, choose the "Enterprise ID" option. After that you can close the browser and use the software.)
