Step One

Administration, teachers or parents recommend a child for additional help in one or more of the following areas: reading, math or behavior.

• This recommendation should be the result of data collected from one or more of the assessments that are conducted throughout the school year.

• The classroom teacher, using the assessment data, completes an online form and submits it to the student study team contact person in their building. If parents are making the recommendation, they should contact their child's teacher to fill out the form.
