Intervention Teacher
The intervention teacher is responsible for...
Updating the SOS referral form including listing new programming and changing the goal statement if necessary;
Adding PDF files of various information that the teacher, parent, or SOS team feels needs to be included in the file;
Inputing and tracking any data collected on the student to assure they are meeting the goals and expectations;Â Be the link between the classroom teacher and the SOS team to call a new SOS meeting if a change in programming is needed.
If a child's assessment data, shows the child should change his/her intervention programming (i.e. transition out of the current program or transition into a different program), the intervention teacher will make the change and then contact the following people:
Building principal
Classroom teacher
The classroom teacher will then contact the parent.
