E = Student demonstrates an advanced understanding of concept or skill. Student solves problems independently, consistently and efficiently and can clearly communicate his/her understanding.
B = Student demonstrates a proficient understanding of the concept or skill. Student solves problems independently;however, may occasionally make minor errors or has some difficulty explaining his/her understanding.
I = Student demonstrates a basic understanding of the concept or skill during independent practice; however, errors still occur.Reminders and suggestions are needed to complete the task.
N = Student demonstrates a minimal understanding of the concept or skill, and cannot complete the task independently.
