Post date: Sep 08, 2020 2:12:5 PM

This lesson is for the counseling classroom from September 7th through September 18th

Hey friends!

This is our first counseling lesson for the 2020-2021 school year!

Every month we will be discussing a character word and watching two videos each month introducing us to real people who have shown the character word in their life.

The character word for the month of September is CURIOSITY. CURIOSITY is a strong desire to know or learn something. How many of you like to learn new things? Do you like to take things apart and see how they work? Do you ask other people lots of questions about things? That is usually because you are curious. People study things, take things apart and ask questions because they want to know and learn more.

This week we are going to be learning about CURIOSITY by looking at a man name Leonardo Da Vinci. Kind of like Leonardo the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle....but this Leonardo was a real guy who is now considered to be one of the greatest painters of all time. But he liked to do more than just paint. Click on the link below to learn more about CURIOSITY and Leonardo Da Vinci:
