Post date: Nov 16, 2020 2:21:0 PM

This lesson is for the counseling classroom from November 16th through December 4th

Hey friends!

Welcome back for the second character lesson of November! We are still talking about CITIZENSHIP and what it means to be a good citizen in our home, school an community. Remember that being a good citizen means that you are doing your share to make things better!

Before we continue with our character word for this month we want to review our "Mindfulness Moment" this month. The "Mindfulness Moment" this month is the exercise "I Am Thankful". Remember, not only can deep breathing and shaking our sillies out help us to calm down, but taking a short moment to think about what we are thankful for can help us calm down as well. Not only can it help us calm down but it can help us to get rid of negative thoughts and change our mindset to a positive one. We all have things we can be thankful for....what are YOU thankful for? Tell someone else a few things that you are thankful for!

As we continue to talk about CITIZENSHIP we are going to learn about someone new this lesson. Our new example of CITIZENSHIP is Roberto Clemente, a former professional baseball player.
