Advanced Placement (AP)

Advanced Placement (AP) courses are college-level courses offered by Boone High School. The College Board provides the courses, curriculum requirements, and optional tests. Boone High School offers five AP courses on campus as well as fourteen on-line, each with an optional final exam at the completion of the course. Based on the examination score and the postsecondary institution’s policies, students may be eligible for college credit or advanced standing at the college or university to which they later matriculate.
