Why not use the same principles as Nehemiah did with your Ministry Team Member this summer? Consider these simple biblical principles:
1. Pray - for your current ministry team members, as well as future ones.
2. Unite families - to serve in various roles. Consider their spiritual gifts and how they might use them to fill a need.
3. Focus - Remind people of the greater purpose and how God can use them mightily!
4. Personalize - Bring personal meaning to the role of your ministry team members.
5. Equip - Be sure each of your team members has what they need in order to serve faithfully.
6. Support - Provide support and allow team members to support each other.
7. Set the example - Serve alongside your ministry team and they will respect your servanthood.
