Tau Chapter Members Participate in Commencement

Post date: Jun 3, 2019 4:57:03 PM

Another Commencement season is behind us, and it was great to see the maroon and gold cords showing our Tau Chapter members among all the graduates! And again, our members represented the honor society well as two of the student speakers and one of the singers for the ceremonies on May 18 and 19 in Adelphi, MD were Tau Chapter Members. Jacqueline Bullard, December 2018 Tau Chapter Inductee was the student speaker for the Saturday morning ceremony, and Natalie Madison-Rascoe, May 2019 Tau Chapter Inductee was the student speaker for the Saturday afternoon ceremony. Furthermore, Ijiiola Elensimogun, sang both the national anthem and the alma mater for the Saturday and Sunday afternoon ceremonies. Congratulations to the three of you for stepping up and then for being selected for these roles!

Just making it to graduation is an accomplishment, and walking across the stage at Commencement is special.

Watch our Tau Chapter speakers below. Unfortunately, I could not find a recording of the national anthem or alma mater.

I could not find any information on the overseas student speakers and singers- if you happened to be one, please let me know!
