Commencement Ceremonies

Congratulations to all the Alpha Sigma Lambda members who participated in Commencement ceremonies this past weekend or earlier in the semester! And congrats to those of you who have upcoming Commencement ceremonies. I was at the Sunday Adelphi ceremony and it was great to see the maroon and gold honor cords as the graduates walked across the stage. I was also excited to see that the student speaker, Timothy French, was an Alpha Sigma Lambda member! You can view his speech here:

The Saturday morning ceremony speaker, Rhonda Singletary, is also an Alpha Sigma Lambda member. You can see her maroon and gold honor cords amidst the others she wears in her video, which you can view here:

One great thing about UMUC is that our graduates participate in Commencement ceremonies around the world! Below is a picture of two ASL members, Kim Carter and Alycia Rehm, who participated in a ceremony in the state of Washington.

If you have pictures you'd like us to share, please send them to me at asl@umuc.edu and I can add them to the blog! You can also share with the national blog using #AlphaSigmaLambda
