Profile

Michele Sala is an associate professor in English Language and Translation at the University of Bergamo. His research field and publications are mainly concerned with the application of genre analysis to specialized communication, and with the study of the linguistic, textual and pragmatic aspects of academic discourse. He has also dealt with text linguistics in cognitive terms.

Michele Sala è professore associato in Lingua e traduzione inglese presso l’Università di Bergamo. Il suo ambito di ricerca e le sue pubblicazioni riguardano principalmente l’applicazione della genre analysis alla comunicazione specialistica e lo studio degli aspetti linguistici, testuali e pragmatici del discorso accademico. Si è anche interessato di linguistica testuale in chiave cognitiva.
