Profile

LARISSA D’ANGELO is a research fellow at the Department of Comparative Language, Literature and Culture of the University of Bergamo and Professor of English at the Faculty of Educational Studies and at the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures. After graduating in Foreign Languages and Literatures, she specialized in English Language in the USA (Youngstown State University), obtaining an MA, a TESOL Certificate and a Certificate in Children’s and Young Adult Literature. Her main research interests deal with synchronic/diachronic analyses of gender and cultural identity variation in academic discourse, within the field of Genre Analysis. She is a member of AIA (Associazione Italiana di Anglistica) and since 2006 she has been involved in national inter-academic Research Projects on academic language and discourse funded by the Italian Ministry of Education and coordinated by Prof. Maurizio Gotti.


D’ANGELO LARISSA é professore associato presso il Dipartimento di Lingue, Letterature e Culture Comparate dell'Università degli Studi di Bergamo e docente di Lingua Inglese presso la Facolta' di Lingue e Letterature Stranire e la Facolta’ di Scienze della Formazione. Dopo la laurea in Lingue e Letterature Straniere ottenuta nel 2004, si è specializzata in Lingua Inglese negli Stati Uniti (Youngstown State University), dove ha conseguito un Master of Arts, un Diploma TESOL e un Diploma in Letteratura Giovanile e per l’Infanzia. I suoi principali interessi di ricerca vertono, nell’ambito della Genre Analysis, sulle analisi sincroniche/diacroniche delle variazioni sia di genere, che d’identitá culturale. È membro dell’AIA (Associazione Italiana di Anglistica) e dal 2006 e’ coinvolta in progetti di ricerca inter-accademici sul linguaggio accademico, finanziati dal MIUR e coordinati dal Prof. Maurizio Gotti.
