Teachers and Students

I have prepared some Hindi reading and writing materials as a student and a learner (since I know how to read and write Hindi since 1976) for the Learn Hindi class. I have forwarded the materials to the teacher S Dixit. Here I am sharing this with others as well. Materials presented here include: Hindi alphabets, Hindu prayer, Hindi poem, Hindi rhyme, and two-letter Hindi words.

  • What Hindi Alphabet is it? [Random order. A pdf file]. This Power Point presentation has over 20 slides. As you go through the presentation in each slide one after another four Hindi letters (in random order) will appear. The Hindi teacher can put one letter and ask the student to identify and pronounce the letter. If you need the animated original .pptx, contact me at: somabhanu [@] gmail.com
  • Tumi ho mata pita tumi ho [Hindu prayer]: Lyrics in Hindi, in English and translation in English
