FAMU Way

I participated in the second The Longest Table (#TheLongestTable) event today evening held at the newly renovated FAMU Way just behind the Railroad Square and near the Tallahassee Amtrak Station. Like last year the event was organized jointly by City of Tallahassee, Leon County, and The Village Square. In addition, Mayor Andrew Gillum announced that Knight Foundation from Knight Creative Cities Challenge also provided funding for the event.

The sun was brightly shining on the newly opened FAMU way when I arrived and there are lots of people. I took some cup cakes for dessert and they served coleslaw and beans along with lemonade. I sat down with a group people from FAMU and a church member. We discussed about the life in Tallahassee.

Capital Cascades Trail and Bridge

Then I went around met few other people and walked around the newly opened Capital Cascades Crossing Bridge before heading home.
