Florida State University 2010 Fall Graduation for Masters in Information and Library Sciences (and others) was held this evening (Friday, Dec 10, 2010) between 7:30 and 9:30 PM at Leon County Civic Center in Tallahassee, FL.

Seven of us arrived around 6:15 PM and the weather was brisk and cold. Bhanu had to leave early and stay with the graduates. We were let in around 6:25 PM and we went and sat in the section named "P" close to the Masters candidate area. At 7:30 the program began with a procession which was followed by Professor Eric Barron, President of FSU's welcome speech, address by FSU student body President Dustin Daniels. The commencement speaker was Professor Thomas Joiner, FSU, Dept Psychology.

Then the undergraduates were conferred their degrees and each everyone went to the stage to accept it. Following undergraduates, Masters and Ph.D candidates were conferred their degrees in their chosen field of study. Then they all went and accepted their degrees in person. Each Dean from the their respectives colleges shook the candidates hand first and the President congratulated the candidates. There were photos and viedo of the program.

Fianlly around 9:45 PM the program ended with singing of Garnet Gold Hymn.
