Obama ..... clearly wants to move away from oil. He sees it as a national security issue, environmental issue and economic issue. He wants to fund research and development for hybrids setting the mileage standard at 150 mpg. He’s pushing conservation by setting a goal for the U.S. to, “Within 10 years save more oil than we currently import from the Middle East and Venezuela combined.” He forecasts five million new jobs with his planned investment in clean energy. Also would mandate that all new vehicles sold have flex fuel capabilities. He would like to see “cellulosic ethanol, biobutenol and other new technologies that produce synthetic petroleum from sustainable feedstocks.”
McCain .... favors drilling in environmentally sensitive areas for more oil and gas. He once opposed drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and offshore. He’s changed his mind now. Drilling is the top strategy listed in his energy plan. He mentions the trillions of dollars worth of oil and gas reserves in the U.S. and Produce new expensive cars that many will not be able to afford to try to change fuel usage - when cheap vehicles already exist to do this.(His ideas of deregulation in the financial market should have been in the car market European cars will not destroy your market but will save it.

Wealth increases for the country
OBAMA ....... Wants to tax the Top rich and distribute the Wealth - lower down the scale so people will and can work to get this money ....which will start to balance and bring down the divide between rich and poor.
MCCain ....... Wants to help Plumber Joe ..... when he gets up to earning $250,000 income per year ...... he sounds like he will not need too much help once he has got to this ammount.
(But his message was clear he wants to help Joe the plumber - but if he becomes president I would hope he would help everybody else too)
But possibly plumber Joe later on like Financial Fred from Wall street with well over $250,000 per year will benefit from McCains policies.

Health care ..
OBAMA ....... Wants everybody to have health care and the rich that can afford it from the profits they make from your work to pay for it ........

Wurzelbacher, who makes roughly $40,000 a year, has acknowledged that his taxes would be cut by the Obama proposal. Obama's plan retains the private insurance system but injects additional money to pay for expanding coverage. Those who can't afford coverage would get a subsidy on a sliding scale depending on their income, and virtually all businesses would have to share in the cost of coverage for their workers.
McCain .......
McCain's plan is meant to encourage individuals to purchase their insurance and free companies from the heavy cost of providing coverage. His theory is that employees would take their tax credit and flock to the open market, where they could shop around for the plan that best meets their needs. Insurance companies would have to become more competitive to win their business ..... again if you are a wealthy business .... McCain has just helped you ..... if you are a normal worker .... you have to buy your healthcare .... ( I can see how this will work he will supposedly give you a credit for your heathcare ,,,, all that happens is the price of cover goes up and is still more than you can afford ..... (not lying but I see a devious plan behind it ....you get nothing for free)

Housing Problems
OBAMA ...... Speaking at Cooper Union in New York recently the senator addressed the need for tightening regulations and reforming the financial regulatory system as well as presenting a proposal for a second economic stimulus package. (which if you check out who was involved in the deregulation of this caused the initial problem - McCain)
McCain....... He says "it is not the duty of government to bail out and reward those who act irresponsibly, whether they are big banks or small borrowers..
