How might we make empathy circles fun and engaging for high school students?

exciting, freedom, adventure
social things with people their own age
Knowing that how to incorporate that in a circle?
physical mirroring
any way to get the body moving. somatic sensory experiences to open up/warm up
Any concern about the fun aspect distracting from the genuine quotient?
The authentic space is the fun.
this fun may be the beginning. and enrich the empathy circle
the fun activity is a warm up, a way to build rapport with others who may be new to the EC.
When we do the empathy circle do we explain it if just dive in on it?
EC’s tend to be ambiguous at first; people felt like we don’t know what is going on.
Even if we describe the EC or movement activity, it may still be ambiguous.
The movement piece, , how do we do that?
Call people as experts,,

free form dance. prepares people for doing an empathy circle; primes the mind by opening the body to whatever is present and wanting to be expressed.
