Pan-fried Walleye
Ingrediants:
v Buttermilk (1 Cup)
v Egg (1-2 depending on size)
v Butter (3-4 Tablespoons)
v Cornflakes crumbs
v Fish fillets (thawed)
Method:
1. Put Cornflake crumbs in a Ziploc bag.
2. Whip 2 eggs
3. Add buttermilk to eggs (to make a dipping/coating mixture).
4. Melt butter (lots of it!) in skillet.
5. Dip fish fillets in buttermilk/egg mixture until well-coated.
6. Place in Ziploc baggie with Cornflake crumbs.
7. Seal bag.
8. Shake until coated well.
9. Place in skillet with melted butter
10. Fry until fillets become white and flakey
11. Salt & Pepper to taste.
12. Enjoy your brother’s fresh/frozen catch!
Note:
Receiving the fish FILLETS from your brother FROZEN in Ziploc baggies is
better than finding them “belly-up” in a bucket of Frozen H2O on your deck! *UGH* LOL
