Both hunts require the following:
Apply by May 1st to the Minnesota State Black Bear Lottery : MN DNR
First Choice: Zone 26 (Sept 1-5) or Zone 45 (Sept 7-11)
Second Choice: Zone 99 (preference points) for the following year
Apply as a group of 4 or less or individually.
Everyone must sign the waiver or no hunt.
Everyone must read safety handout at orientation.
Everyone agrees to use a safety harness.
Everyone draws straws for sites.
$250.00 deposits per hunter are due by August 1st.
Request that each group bring one special hunting dish for dinner.
I usually bring venison or bear chili for orientation night. So that leaves five more
dishes for us to round up for us to eat together around the camp fire after the days hunt.
