http://www.myspace.com/musicfromthefilm

Improvisational and eclectic, Music From The Film combines electronic and amplified acoustic instruments. Many of the electronic sources are unique one-of-a-kind circuits designed by Arthur Harrison. His collaborator, Gary Young, is a veteran of the alternative music community with previous affiliations to the bands New Killers On The Block, Bone Bunny, Entfred and Drooling Zoomers. The group has released three full-length CDs and a Seven-Inch, all currently available. For more information, see their Myspace page at www.myspace.com/musicfromthefilm.

2. 6:45pm - 7:15pm: "Bear And Lampshade" (Rob Neubauer & Ross Apperson)

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Bear-Lampshade/311305114248

Bear and Lampshade is Rob Neubauer (Synthesizers/Drum Machines/Sampling/Guitar/Bass) & Ross Apperson (Vocals) playing a style of avant-garde new wave pop influenced by everything from film scores to experimental electronica and punk rock. The group formed to be able to experiment with audio without the intention of fitting in with certain scenes, while still attempting to create a consumable product. Live performances borrow from the members' theater backgrounds to make them more than just musical experiences. They play everything from any type of concert festival to bar mitzvahs.

3. 7:30pm - 8:00pm: "Peaks" (Patrick Rife) - http://peaks.bandcamp.com/

Patrick Rife has long been engaged in the act of manipulating sounds; via song-writing, textural extractions, soundscapes, sample appropriation etc. Patrick's focus is on creating beautiful sonic environments that transport the listener to places unexpected. His work often employs samples ranging from sounds of war to sounds of whales to sounds of babes or sounds of hail and more often than not varies dramatically.

4. 8:15pm - 8:45pm: "Stargazer 21" (Ken Donnelly) - http://www.soundclick.com/stargazer21

"Stargazer 21" (Kenneth Donnelly) is an electronic space musician/composer. He has been exploring sound and music since the mid seventies. Composing improvisationally, his music aims to mystify, challenge and elevate the listener, using electric guitar, effects and synthesizers. "I've been fascinated with the idea of creating a naturally psychedelic, yet moving inner- and outer-space music that reflects my impressions of nature, mind and reality. My influences are endless--a few: nature, the sky, Bernard Hermann soundtracks, old Pink Floyd instrumentals, old King Crimson, John McLaughlin, old sci-fi, Robin Trower, Jimi Hendrix, Yes, Genesis, Morbid Angel, Type-O Negative, dreams, memories, sunsets and the sky. 5. 9:00pm - 9:30pm: Jonathan Badger

http://www.jonathanbadger.com/ or http://www.facebook.com/jonathan.badger.music.page

Since then hís traveled around performing his riveting style of ìguitaristicî electronic music. In 2008 Jonathan turned to a more extensive use of computer in his live act, processing guitar through an assortment of customized software and hardware - folding and weaving signals together into complex patterns of interlaced rhythm, harmony and texture.† The resulting aesthetic is an ambient, avant-rock hybrid with DIY sensibilities, and serves as the basis for his second full-length, Unsung Stories from Lilly's Days as a Solar Astronaut.
