Current Lineup of Performing Artists as of 07/30/2011:

1. 7:00pm to 7:30pm - "Tag Cloud" - Chris Videll - http://soundcloud.com/tag-cloud

Chris Videll plays electroacoustic drone under the name Tag Cloud, incorporating analog electronics, loops, fx, gongs, and more. Perhaps best described by DCist as "hazy ambience." Of one of his tracks on the Front & Follow label's recent remix project "14 Versions of the Same EP," the Wire said "… TagCloud’s 2v13...at the start has all the solemn beauty of a stained glass window, but ends in a stormy rumble of distortion." Currently also working with Dave Vosh and Keith Sinzinger (Fast Forty) as Safe Fast & Effective.

2. 7:45pm to 8:15pm - "Bear and Lampshade" - Robert Neubauer, Mike Smith & Esmail Hamidi

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Bear-Lampshade/311305114248

Bear and Lampshade is Rob Neubauer (Synthesizers/Drum Machines/Sampling/Guitar/Bass), Mike Smith (Vocals, Impressions, Props, Dance), and Todd Johnston (Vocals, Bent Electronics, Turntable, Fuzz) playing a style of avant-garde new wave pop influenced by everything from film scores to experimental electronica and punk rock. The group formed to be able to experiment with audio without the intention of fitting in with certain scenes, while still attempting to create a consumable product. Live performances borrow from the members' theater backgrounds to make them more than just musical experiences. They play everything from any type of concert festival to bar mitzvahs.

3. 8:30pm to 9:00pm - ("MIDI Users' Group") - Travis Hallenbeck

4. 9:15pm to 9:45pm - "Tangent" - Ken Donnelly, Stuart Rosenzweig & Mike Jeffries featuring "Synth Tech Project" - Logan Mitchell Sr http://sites.google.com/site/synthtechproject

I've been interested in electronic music since my teenage years & have many influences such Herbie Hancock, Keith Emerson, Rick Wakeman, Bernie Worrell, Don Preston, George Duke, Tangerine Dream, Gary Wright, Triumvirat, Pink Floyd, Synergy, Walter Carlos, Wendy Carlos, Kraftwerk, etc.

--Logan Mitchell Sr--

5. 10:00pm to 10:30pm - "Safe2" - Dave Vosh http://www.myspace.com/safe00

Dave Vosh has been working with electronic and electroacoustic music since the early 70`s and has been performing live since 2005 - solo and in various duo / trio combinations. His influences come from the "classic" era of electronic music, the 50`s and 60`s. He wanders the sonic wastelands, searching.
