http://www.acidplanet.com/artist.asp?AID=692075&T=7761

The whole of Duc D’Angelos is greater than the sum of its parts; each component may influence other components in a web of incentives, constraints and connections. The slightest change in one part causes tremors everywhere else. The Duc D'Angelos Quartet is dedicated to the idea of non-linear performance. It is music. It is musical form of sound and silence over time but there is no utilitarianism in their approach. They are not useful. They create for the moment, without premeditation. It is décor. It is graffiti via device.

2. 8:45pm - 9:15pm: "Technodynolator" (Hal Schmulowitz)

Technodynolator is the easy listening, electronic stylings of Hal Schmulowitz. Proudly created in the USA and served up for your listening pleasure.

3. 9:30pm - 10:00pm: "Synth Tech Project" (Logan Mitchell Sr)

http://sites.google.com/site/synthtechproject

I've had an interest in Electronic Music since the late 1960's when I first listened to the albums of Walter Carlos (Switched On Bach) & Dick Hyman (The Electric Eclectics of Dick Hyman), Paul Bley & Peacock and Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon. I am also inspired by groups such as Emerson Lake & Palmer, Yes, Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk, Triumvirat as well as individual keyboardists such as Keith Emerson, George Duke, Bernie Worrell, Gary Wright, Gregg Rolie & Don Preston, all of whom I've had the pleasure to meet & take photos with, as well as inspiration by Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Rick Wakeman, the late Richard Wright, the late Billy Preston, Greg Phillinganes, Billy Beck, Joe Sample, Richard Tee, Don Grolnick, Bob James, Dave Brubeck, Greg Allman, Joe Sample, Donald Fagen, Cornelius Bumpus, Richard Lainhart, Jordan Rudess, Jon Lord, Jan Hammer, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Michael McDonald, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Tom Scholz, Tom Coster, Richard Kermode & Larry Dunn.

4. 10:15pm - 10:45pm: "Tangent" (Stuart Rosenzweig & Mike Jeffries)

My interest in electronic music was kindled when I was 10 and saw (and heard!) Forbidden Planet

on a Sunday afternoon movie. My interest moved from passive listening (lots of 70's european progressive and

space rock) to active participation in 1975 when I built a my first synth, a Paia 2720 modular, convinced

that it would sound like a Minimoog for a fraction of the cost. About that time, I first met Stuart Rosensweig

and we began to improvise electro-musical marathons on weekends. The marathons continue (after a 30 year pause) to the present day. Other musical "genres" that have influenced me include film scores, throat singing, academic

50's tape music, satellite transmissions, field recordings, and early 80's synth pop. Some of the musicians/artists who have been heroes of mine at one time or another include Mort Subotnick, Frank Zappa, Peter Hammill/ Van

Der Graaf Generator, Larry Fast, Tom Waits, and Bernie Krause. --Michael Jeffries--

My musical influences are Ray Manzarek, Beethoven, Pink Floyd, John Cage, Gary Neuman, Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie, Peter Paul and Mary, David Bowie, Ninch Inch Nails, Megadeth and last but not least by my fellow SDIY (Synthesizer Do It Yourself) comrades. --Stuart Rosenzweig--

5. 11:00pm - 11:30pm: "Dubathonic" http://www.facebook.com/dubathonic

Dubathonic is fronted by Chad Boutin, who was lead guitarist in the Annapolis rock outfit F.E.A.R. before moving to the Chicago area and expanding into electronic music. dubathonic appeared at the first two Midwest Electronic Music Summits before returning to Maryland. Regular shows in the DC area led to a New York's Electro-Music Festival performance, which won the laptop battle prize. His all-hardware techno partnership with Lampeo has netted a string of performances across Maryland, including their most recent at the 2011 Big Dub Candy Mountain festival.
